Why Buy VW Electric?

The new Volkswagen lineup in New Orleans is establishing itself as the leader for change in the Mandeville area. Each vehicle utilizes renewable energy charging options that include solar or wind alternatives. When operating with clean electricity, using renewable energy sources makes the vehicles more eco-friendly on the roads in Slidell. It improves the vehicle's lifespan compared to fossil fuel automobiles.

Clean electricity promotes the total elimination of fuel costs or will, at the very least, significantly reduce the costs to operate a vehicle. Therefore, there will be no need to wait in long lines for fill-ups. The positive effect is that the migration from fossil fuels to renewable energy will produce zero emissions. As a result, air quality is improved, which leads to general health improvements and a better quality of life in Kenner.

ID Buzz

ID. BUZZ

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz Brings the Classic VW Van Back to Life

The VW Microbus is one of the most iconic vehicles of all time. Synonymous with a movement that has its roots in environmental conservation, the Microbus is a symbol of earth-loving folks everywhere. Now, the new VW ID. Buzz is bringing the VW Microbus back to New Orleans area roads with an all-electric powertrain that will help you keep our planet healthy for another generation.

All-Electric Powertrain

The 2023 VW ID. Buzz doesn't burn any fuel. No hybrid powertrain, no fuel-sipping turbocharged engine. Instead, this new Volkswagen van is powered by nothing but electricity. With an 82kWh battery, you'll have a respectable 201 horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque at your disposal, making the all-electric ID. Buzz more powerful than a current VW Jetta sedan.

Interior Space

As we inch closer to the release of the VW ID. Buzz, more information about the build and cabin of this new VW model comes available to us. The standard ID. Buzz models will feature five seats of space, though three-row and longer-wheelbase models aren't out of the question for future models.

A six-passenger option is slated to come with three rows of two seats each in the standard wheelbase ID. Buzz model. And with the potential for a long-wheelbase in the future, a seven-seat setup with three-seat second row is rumored for those who need the most passenger space possible.

The rear cargo area measures a staggering 39.6 cubic feet of space, giving you more rear cargo room than most five-seat SUVs you'll find on the road today. When you don't have passengers in the rear seats, you can fold those flat as well, with a 60:40 configuration that lets you fold just one side or the other, or both at once depending on your needs at the time.

Charging

With any electric vehicle, charging is always a point of interest. Fortunately, the VW ID. Buzz does well here, charging from 10 to 80 percent capacity on a public fast charging station in just 30 minutes. That means that while you're on a road trip, simply stopping for lunch will be enough to get you back on the road for another few hundred miles, so you can drive your electric VW bus in much the same way as you do a gasoline-powered vehicle today.

Safety Tech

The 2023 VW ID. Buzz will come with a wealth of standard safety features to help improve your driving experience and give you more confidence behind the wheel. Forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking keep an eye out for hazards ahead, including both vehicles and pedestrians so you can feel safe driving anywhere. And with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and lane centering, you'll have a series of functions that help you maintain a safe space while driving on the highway.

Luxury Touches

In the 2023 VW ID. Buzz, you'll get much more than a forward-thinking electric van for your drives from Kenner to Metairie. Premium options like heated and ventilated seats, built-in seat massage, and multi-zone automatic climate control help keep you and your passengers comfortable while you enjoy the road ahead.
